Electric Bus Project – Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Access Bridge Point is powering Pakistan’s clean energy transition with the country’s first electric bus project. In collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA), we are deploying 160 electric buses in Islamabad.
  • 146 buses have already arrived; the remaining 14 are en route from China
  • Construction of the Zero Point charging station is in progress
  • Container-based offices and driver training programs are being set up
  • Approved bus routes include Park Road, B-7, PWD, I-8, and I-9
In Rawalpindi, the Punjab government will introduce 102 electric buses across an 84-kilometer network spanning 10 key routes, with a budget of Rs 4.7 billion. This project will significantly reduce urban pollution and enhance public transportation.

BRT Green Line and Orange Line – Karachi

Access Bridge Point has been a core implementation partner for the Karachi BRT Green Line and Orange Line projects in collaboration with Sindh Infrastructure Development Company Limited (SIDCL).
  • Supplied 80 Green Line and Orange Line buses
  • Established 24 stations across a 26-kilometer corridor
  • Delivered 4 Orange Line stations
  • Developed ITS systems and a dedicated data center
  • Ongoing operations and maintenance support for five years
These systems are helping to modernize Karachi’s public transport infrastructure and ease daily commuting challenges.
